Profession: My professional background is in education, career and Mental Health Counseling where I used to work as a Career and Mental Health Counselor at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Prior to joining NWTC, I also worked as a Social Worker with Sheboygan and Manitowoc County Human Services.
If you're exploring post secondary education options and have questions regarding where to begin or what support services are available, please reach out to me.
Purpose: HWS provides me with opportunities to network and grow with other professional Hmong women who share the same vision of empowering others through charity work, financial support, and creating events for the elders and families.
Interests: Family is priority for me, but with grown children who are independent, my husband and I have the flexibility to go explore the world together as both of us are retired.
Motivational Quote: One of my motivational quotes is that there are seven things that you can always control: Your attitude, words, actions, effort, honesty, kindness, response and honesty.

Profession: Family Medicine Physican
Purpose: I joined HWS as a professional Hmong womxn in 2020 in order to serve my community. Preserving my Hmong culture is important to me, and it is through connection, collaboration, and partnership with the youth and women that will allow for this to happen. Without intentionally preserving the uniqueness of our culture, ranging from our clothes to our food, to our language, we are at risk of losing our Hmong identity. I also strive to promote postsecondary education for the Hmong youth. I strongly believe that education allows individuals to turn their dreams into reality. I hope to connect with Hmong youth and serve as a resource. The Sheboygan Hmong community may be smaller than other Hmong communities, but it is amazing what a small group of strong Hmong womxn can accomplish!
